Because MagDrive is freshly compiled open-source software without a commercial code-signing certificate (which requires high yearly corporate fees), Microsoft Defender SmartScreen may display "Windows protected your PC". This is standard for new open-source releases: simply click "More info" and then click "Run anyway". You can independently verify the installer SHA-256 hash below or review the complete source code on GitHub.

Before running the installer, you can verify the SHA-256 cryptographic checksum against your downloaded file:
